•  This is a good overview of responsibility in this area of great need, but it's also worth exploring how the nonprofit sector can expand and even improve on these efforts.

• Water scarcity will be a continuing issue globally, but WASH funding is essential when it comes to sustainable clean water solutions.


According to worldwaterday.org, there are 2.1 billion people who live without safe drinking water at home; affecting their health, education and livelihoods. And if they have access to it, they must take 4 hours out of their day to get to it.

This necessity is so basic to the developed world and I can’t even imagine not having a clean water source instantly but here are the purposeful businesses doing something about it and how you can take part of it too.
