to.org is committed to healing the world by accelerating Earth’s most vital ventures. Founded by Nachson and his brother, Arieh Mimran, the organization operates through a hybrid model of ventures and philanthropy, built around the fundamental belief that in order to heal the world we must take a creative approach.

Below are excerpts from the interview.

Nachson: To.org entered a growth phase in November 2015, when my brother Arieh and I started investing in young companies we believed could heal the world. It took us about two years to understand how much we had to offer, and from there to.org grew with the intention of accelerating Earth’s most vital ventures and facilitating permanent change not just in the short term.

To.org has evolved into a hybrid model of both ventures and philanthropy platforms, with our mission achieved in three distinct ways.

  1. Ventures – investing to accelerate Earth’s most vital ventures;
  2. Create – amplifying Earth’s most vital ideas;
  3. Foundation – supporting individuals and organizations working to heal people and the planet.

Our approach to investing in Africa is the same approach we take in choosing all of our partners. First and foremost we seek brilliant entrepreneurial teams using or building technology with an exceptional business model, working to make a difference by tackling social, environmental, or wider global problems in the most efficient and sustainable ways.
