In a very active and destructive 2017 Hurricane Season, Save the Children is now preparing to respond to help children and families most affected by Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico. Save the Children is in touch with federal authorities and established partners on the ground, as Hurricane Maria is currently projected to make a direct hit on Puerto Rico Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 20. Save the Children’s response and recovery efforts continue in the wake of Hurricane Harvey in Texas and Hurricane Irma across Florida.
