2019 Budget and Policy Briefing

Economic Opportunity Funders and Funders for a Just Economy

About

Economic Opportunity Funders (formerly GIST) and Funders for a Just Economy (FJE) are joining together to hold a combined 2019 Budget and Policy Briefing as a way to streamline programming, highlight intersections, eliminate duplication, reduce travel burdens on membership, and economize on meeting expenditures.

This two-day meeting will focus on federal and state budget and tax policy, work and job quality issues, and organizing and power building strategies. Sessions will explore how the current policy landscape will impact struggling families, workers and communities and the role funders play in building an economy that works for all.

This event is offered free of charge and open to foundations, donor collaborative representatives, and invited guests only. EOF and FJE are committed to bringing funders together to discuss a range of topics during this event.

Due to the sensitivity of the materials that will be presented and the strategy discussions, we can only accept registrations from participants that have a demonstrated history and commitment to racial, social, economic, or gender justice in the United States. EOF and FJE reserve the right to refuse your participation in this event. Once you register, you will receive an email within a few days to confirm your participation.
