2021 and Beyond: Can funders maintain their new grantmaking practices to scale impact

Host Organization: Grantmakers for Effective Organizations

About

2020 proved to be a unique year, bringing to the forefront long-standing systemic issues, such as racial inequity, inadequate healthcare infrastructure, economic inequality, and climate risks. Many funders have changed funding practices this year to enable grantees to weather volatile times and pivot their strategies. For example, over 700 funders signed the COVID Pledge. Are funders positioned to learn from, and continue to embed, better grantmaking approaches beyond the current period?

Join Heather Grady, Vice President at Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors, for an interactive discussion with Kathy Reich from the Ford Foundation and Suzana Grego of the Skoll Foundation. Together, we will explore how funders have changed their grantmaking practices, and how to maintain and further improve upon them, to further their organizational missions in the months and years ahead.
