This session is designed to provide you an overview of best practices when it comes to investments.  You will learn:

  • Investing Best Practices for Nonprofits
  • Types of Investment Vehicles
  • Investing for Sustainability

A large focus of the presentation will center on properly assessing the risk in any investment strategy and some common sense rules to avoid costly mistakes. Many real-life examples will be used to demonstrate concepts. A detailed understanding of investing and finance is NOT required for this program.
