About
If you are going to raise more money, engage more volunteers, serve more clients, and increase your impact, your board needs to know how to talk about your organization in a way that is both consistent and compelling. This means investing in your words!
Attendees will learn:
- How to craft messaging that works for different audiences and situations
- How to improve your Mission Statement so it better engages external stakeholders
- Which words are most effective at getting and keeping people’s attention
Note: This session will not be held in the Panoramic Center, but in a different space in the same building. Information will be included in the email confirmation after you register.
Trainer Erica Mills is the Director of the Nancy Bell Evans Center on Nonprofits and Philanthropy at the Evans School of the University of Washington and the CEO of Claxon Marketing. She has taught thousands of organizations how to use language to find better words and create a better world.
