The ongoing Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo is the second largest and second deadliest outbreak in history. And the number of cases is increasing. As of May 11, the World Health Organization has reported 1,680 confirmed and probable cases with 1,117 deaths (1,029 confirmed and 88 probable cases).
The Center for Disaster Philanthropy (CDP), with generous support from The UPS Foundation, is hosting a webinar, “Ebola: Responding to a Growing Crisis.”
Speakers will share information about the current needs on the ground and share ideas for how philanthropy can respond to this urgent crisis.
