Engaging Law Enforcement as a Key Partner in Ending Homelessness [Webinar]

Host Organization: Funders Together to End Homelessness

About

In August 2018, the US Interagency Council on Homelessness and the Council of State Governments Justice Center held a Convening on Law Enforcement and Homeless Services Partnerships in Ending Homelessness. During this webinar, we will examine promising practices among law enforcement and homeless service sector partners discussed at the convening, highlight four distinct roles law enforcement has in promoting public safety at the intersection of homelessness, and address challenges that exist in strengthening and maintaining effective partnerships. We will review next steps on actions law enforcement, communities, federal partners, and funders can take to address and ultimately end homelessness.

Please note: This webinar is only open to members of Funders Together, private funders, United Ways, and philanthropy-serving organizations. If you have questions about participating, please contact Stephanie Chan, Director of Membership and Programs, at stephanie@FundersTogether.org
