Host Organization: Philanthropy West Virginia

About

This webinar will offer strategies for philanthropy to utilize in addressing substance use disorders and mental health.

Our featured speakers will be Joan Englund, Executive Director of the Mental Health and Addiction Advocacy Coalition in Ohio, and Mary Pounder, Program Director of the Comer Family Foundation in Illinois.

Speakers will present comprehensive views of the areas having the greatest need for advocacy and support for vulnerable populations dealing with substance use disorders, more urgent now in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Hear about lessons learned, best practices and how philanthropy can play a pivotal role in responding to the pandemic’s short-and long-term impacts on those with substance use disorders and mental health conditions.
