Presented by United Philanthropy Forum, Foundations on the Hill (FOTH) is a two-day convening that brings together hundreds of foundation leaders from across the country to meet with Congress to discuss issues of critical importance to philanthropy. Each year, Philanthropy Northwest leads a delegation from our six-state region.

Regardless of your experience doing policy work or participating in legislative visits, we invite and encourage you to join the Philanthropy Northwest delegation!

With January 2019 marking the start of the 116th Congress with new congressional leadership, #FOTH19 is timed perfectly to help current and new elected officials understand the value of philanthropy to the social and economic fabric of our country. Through Foundations on the Hill, your organization will have the opportunity to:

Inform and educate Congress about philanthropy
Advocate on issues affecting our foundations and communities
Encourage Congress to view foundations in the Northwest as a resource and partner on key public policy issues
United Philanthropy Forum and Philanthropy Northwest staff will provide training and support to delegation participants leading up to FOTH.
