TPW’s “Going Beyond Giving” report seeks to better understand high- and ultra-high-net-worth philanthropists’ motivations, actions, and practices. It is the first study to include a representative sample of TPW’s 450+ member philanthropists, the largest global network of its kind and unique to philanthropy. The study was created with support from the Raikes Foundation and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
The report’s co-authors, joined by TPW leadership, will present the study’s findings and participate in a roundtable discussion. Webinar attendees will be invited to submit questions. The authors collected extensive information from 219 high-wealth philanthropists from all over the world, including 132 TPW members. The findings explore how donors approach philanthropy, providing data about donor motivations, behavior, and choices — raising important questions that merit further exploration and discussion.
