How to Set Goals and Measure Program Results

Host Organization: The Chronicle of Philanthropy

About

Donors, whether grant makers, corporate philanthropists, or individuals, want to support work that is making a difference. But it can be difficult to know what to measure and how.

Join us for a one-hour online session that will help program managers and executives set and measure meaningful goals over time, so you can demonstrate your impact to donors and prospective supporters.

Elijah Goldberg, chief operating officer at a nonprofit that analyzes and estimates charities’ effectiveness, will provide insights on how to quantify results for grant makers. He’ll explain how to identify metrics that show you’re achieving your mission and offer a primer on assessing your results. He’ll also introduce a powerful technique: framing your impact by quantifying how much worse conditions would be without your organization’s efforts.

What Will You Learn?

  • Tips for figuring out which activities to track and how to do so
  • How to set goals to prove your work produces lasting results
  • Ways to use your data to demonstrate the long-term impact of your organization

The webinar is from 2:00pm to 3:00pm EDT.
