Human-Centered Design Thinking

Host Organization: Southern California Grantmakers

About

Human-Centered Design (aka “Design thinking”) has become an incredibly popular framework for problem-solving in social change organizations, classrooms, and boardrooms.

More than just a philosophy, the methodology begins with deep user empathy and iterates towards more collaborative, creative, and long-lasting  solutions. In this highly interactive session, participants will learn why leading organizations are incorporating the tools of human-centered design into their work and take home elements of design thinking to their own practices.
