LGBTQ Philanthropy in the Southwest: Grantmaking, Trends, Gaps, and Opportunities Webinar

Host Organization: Funders for LGBTQ Issues, Santa Fe Community Foundation, and New Mexico Association of Grantmakers

About

According to the Williams institute, there are nearly 73,000 LGBTQ adults living in New Mexico home, accounting for 4.5% percent of the state’s populations. Approximately 26 percent of LGBTQ people in the state live on less than $24,000 a year and 24 percent of LGBTQ New Mexicans experience food insecurity. Given these realities, what is philanthropy doing to support LGBTQ people in New Mexico and the greater Southwest region?

Please join us for “LGBTQ Philanthropy in the Southwest: Grantmaking Trends, Gaps, and Opportunities” a funder briefing hosted by the Funders for LGBTQ Issues, New Mexico Association of Grantmakers, and the Santa Fe Community Foundation.

This special webinar will inform funders about the national and regional landscape of LGBTQ funding, highlighting current funding levels in New Mexico as well as the challenges and opportunities facing local LGBTQ groups. Speakers will be announced soon!

This event is for grantmakers only. This webinar is from 10:00am-12:00pm MST
