Massachusetts Arts Funders Meeting

Philanthropy MA

About

Massachusetts Arts Funders bi-monthly meetings provide a learning opportunity on an issue or trend facing the arts and cultural community coupled with a chance to network and update colleagues on their current work, challenges, and opportunities in a roundtable format.

This session will focus on Arts and Cultural Facilities. We will discuss the ecosystem of facilities in Boston and across Massachusetts including capital needs assessments, systems to support development and maintenance of facilities, how we avoid losing vulnerable spaces or what happens when we do, and the role funders in region play in supporting the many issues surrounding cultural facilities.

Speakers will include Jay Paget, Cultural Facilities Program Director with the Massachusetts Cultural Council, and Kara Elliott-Ortega, Chief of Arts and Culture for the City of Boston.

Attendees must PRE-REGISTER and be listed on the registration list in order to attend. You will be required to show a picture-ID at the visitors’ security desk in the lobby in order to gain access to the 16th floor.
