Pathways Forward for U.S. Refugee Integration [Webinar]

Host Organization: Grantmakers Concerned With Immigrants and Refugees

About

GCIR's Funders for Refugees and Asylum Seekers invites you to join us for a program delving deeper into refugee integration across communities. This is a follow-up program from our February 26th webinar, "Pathways Forward for U.S. Refugee Resettlement." In that program, we highlighted key opportunities for grantmakers to support refugees and the refugee resettlement infrastructure at the state and local level. Opportunities identified included funding and advocacy to support long-term successful integration of refugees, as well as for broader coalition building across refugee, immigrant, and asylum seeker communities.

In this program, we will delve even deeper into how community-based organizations are developing innovative strategies for long-term integration of refugees and their families. We will learn about the latest data on refugees and the urgency of additional data collection; promising models using a two-generation lens; innovations in working with the refugee youth workforce; and nurturing refugee leaders through civic engagement. Join us for a dynamic conversation and bring your questions and ideas on how funders can support the inclusion of refugees in our communities.
