Following a 30-year career in the finance and investment industry as a private equity investor and C-level business leader, Fisher decided to pursue a second career focused on social impact and economic mobility. He has spent the last four years deeply engaged with the not-for-profit and public sectors, looking for ways to drive change at the nexus of public, private and not-for-profit. He spent three years innovating and building new workforce models at the not for profit Year Up and then joined the Economic Development Administration in October to lead the effort of allocating the Commerce Department’s American Rescue Plan funds focused on job creation, equitable access to jobs, and regional innovation/competitiveness. Join us as we discuss his career and the insights he has gathered along the way.
