As we move through this time of enormous collective and individual change, many of us are feeling a strong reactive pull to go into our thinking selves for immediate crisis management. Or we might be feeling triggered into our most practiced trauma survival strategies. These responses make a lot of sense given the pressures of this moment. And yet -- we also have a powerful opportunity to tap into our bodily wisdom to cultivate deeper experiences of resilience, grounding, and connection.
In this webinar, we’ll share some brief framing to understand more about why embodiment is relevant to this moment, and we’ll go through a few embodied practices that can support participants to feel more grounded, present, open and connected. We’ll also do a movement practice to feel more centered even when experiencing change. No equipment is needed except paper and writing instruments. Practices can be done both sitting and standing, even in areas with limited space.
