Congress is racing to meet September deadlines to raise the debt ceiling and pass a 2018 federal budget. Federal funding accounts for more than one-third of California’s state budget – the implications of the final budget will have immediate effects on our state. The anticipated cuts will affect housing, immigration, health, workforce, transportation, the arts and more.
