The Island Foundation & Philanthropy Massachusetts: Deepening Learning on Equity and Inclusion

Exponent Philanthropy

About

Join us for a conversation on equity and inclusion led by nationally known trainer Angela Park.

Over the past few years, a growing group of foundations around the country has begun integrating equity, inclusion, diversity, and social justice in their partnerships with grantees. During that time, however, we have also seen a rapidly shifting political climate and, unfortunately, a stalling of progress on diversity and inclusion, as described in the recent reports Green 2.0, Race to Lead, and Leading with Intent.

This workshop will examine concrete steps funders and their grantees can take to address board leadership, operationalize and embed equity, and create the space for peer learning on these critical topics. Learn more about national efforts on justice and equity in philanthropy, share lessons learned, and explore opportunities for collaboration within our state.
