Mercy Corps has been on the ground in Ukraine, Poland, and Romania since the start of the war in Ukraine in February 2022, quickly working to meet evolving humanitarian needs and supporting local partners to help provide lifesaving services to thousands of people. One year later, this dynamic conflict continues to create humanitarian needs, not only in Ukraine and the surrounding region, but across the globe.
In this virtual session, our Ukraine crisis response leader and partners will speak to the current humanitarian needs caused by the conflict, the work Mercy Corps and its partners have taken on this past year to provide aid in Ukraine, and what action Mercy Corps is actively taking to help alleviate the worsening effects on other global humanitarian crises.
