Understanding The California School Dashboard And Its Indicators

Southern California Grantmakers

About

Southern California Grantmakers and the Education Funders Group invite you to join us for a closer look at California’s School Dashboard. This session will include a presentation by the California Collaborative for Educational Excellence (CCEE). Following CCCE’s presentation we will be joined by two family engagement providers that will share how they are working with parents and schools to help them understand the indicators.

Dashboard 101 Presentation:

Learn the basics regarding how state and local indicators are determined and how the Dashboard can be used to support continuous improvement, including:

LCFF pillars: Equity, Local Control, and Continuous Improvement
Dashboard: State Indicators and Local Indicators
How to read and calculate performance levels
Tina Ochoa, Senior Manager of Training, California Collaborative for Educational Excellence, will be facilitating the session. There will be a panel discussion with Sandy Mendoza, Director of Advocacy, Families in Schools, and Seth Litt, Executive Director of Parent Revolution.

We hope you can join us for this timely and critical program.
