Every Women's History Month brings a celebration of progress on issues affecting women and girls in the U.S. and globally. It also spurs timely reflections on the systemic barriers that impede gender equity.
While they receive a significantly lower proportion of venture and philanthropic capital, organizations led by Black, Indigenous, and other women of color have been vital forces for driving societal gains that benefit entire communities. At the same time, we are currently facing a transformational moment when social and health crises are widening opportunity and employment gaps with disproportionate impacts on women of color. Addressing this is urgent: we can't wait to accelerate solutions — built by those closest to the problems — that drive inclusion and opportunity for all people.
Join us for a conversation where gender, race, and inclusive leadership converge. Hear from our speakers about creating more on-ramps for economic inclusion, how gender- and race-aware funding can help accelerate equity, and why social impact will go further and happen faster when we fund and support the leadership of more women of color.
