Did you know?
There is only one procedural abortion clinic in Arkansas.
Arkansas’s mandatory, state-scripted “informed consent” requirement and 72 hour waiting period create additional cost and struggle with logistics, especially for those who live hours outside of Little Rock, are financially insecure, or already have children.
These additional barriers can cause patients to schedule their appointments later, which can increase cost.
Many people who have decided to terminate a pregnancy are not able to afford the full cost of an abortion, or travel and lodging, or childcare expenses.
AASN raises money to provide direct financial and logistic assistance to abortion patients in need*. We are a 501(c)(3) organization. All donations are tax-deductible.
Welcome to Arkansas Abortion Support Network. We work to reduce barriers to abortion access in Arkansas through clinic escorting, abortion funding, and community outreach & education.
We provide abortion support services to Arkansans regardless of race, gender identity, religion, socioeconomic status, ability, incarceration, or citizenship status.
