Black Resilience in Colorado Fund
About
Black history details ongoing struggles, systemic inequalities, racial injustices, and oppression. But also illustrates generational strength, resourcefulness, drive, and resilience to rise above and pave a path towards equality, justice, and liberation. While progress has been made, the pandemic and social unrest in 2020 exposed to the world, these challenges still exist and continue to have a significant impact on Black communities. During this time, BRIC helped to meet the needs of community-embedded Black-led and serving organizations by providing immediate financial support so they could continue to provide essential community services in times of crisis and beyond. BRIC is rooted in Black communities. As a partner, BRIC strives to ensure the community can grow a foundation that leads with solutions by them, for them and with their needs in mind - centered on leadership, advocacy, philanthropy, and partnership
