Managed by the Foundation's Grant and Impact Committee, the Catholic Faithful Response Fund makes weekly grants to community-based organizations that are working on the frontlines to support our most vulnerable communities. We know that community needs are shifting daily as a result of these unprecedented times and are closely working with local organizations to monitor where the need is greatest. We will continue to review requests that come in and will make weekly distributions of various amounts to organizations.
Our committee will prioritize grant requests focused on providing the most immediate and critical food and emergency relief to the most marginalized populations in our community. Ministries and social service centers in the area are stretched on staffing resources and are in need of our support. Vulnerable and marginalized people who were already at risk are facing even further insecurity. Your donations to this emergency funding campaign support ministries, schools and parishes, allowing them to increase their services to meet basic human needs and address unexpected financial hardships.
