Through CCF’s Hands Up Grant (HUG), we will be providing assistance to those affected by job or income loss. Thanks to the generosity of the Founder of the Hands Up Grant, Cheryl Berlon and The Pennoyer Family Trust, $75,000 has been donated in a match-up opportunity which will allow us to help our neighbors in need with emergency funding.
Donations made through CCF’s Hands Up Grant (HUG) will be used to provide financial assistance to those affected by job or income loss, specifically the most vulnerable in our community.
Unlike nonprofit organizations focused on a single cause, the Charlotte Community Foundation exists to improve the entire community. We do so by serving our donors, advocating for philanthropy and supporting other nonprofit organizations.
