COVID-19’s economic impact is going to hit some families especially hard. Fortunately, Cobb County is home to a strong, capable and mighty group of non-profit organizations that, for some, could be the one thing standing in the way of hunger, eviction, homelessness, or worse. Because more of our community will need their help, now more than ever, they will need your help.
The Cobb COVID-19 Community Response Fund will provide flexible resources to organizations meeting critical needs in Cobb. Charitable grants will assist organizations and programs working to provide residents with access to food, prescriptions/healthcare, childcare and basic needs. Our goal is to expand local capacity by supporting the nonprofits helping individuals and families experiencing hardship because of the outbreak, related closures and disruptions.
In late 1993, a group of Cobb business leaders recognized the community’s need for a vehicle to invest in its future. Cobb Community Foundation manages charitable funds for local individuals, families, for-profit and non-profit organizations who are all connected by their passion for making a difference in our community.
