COVID-19 Response Fund Fund

About This Fund

The Community Foundation for McHenry County and United Way of Greater McHenry County launched the McHenry County Community COVID-19 Response Fund to unite the funds raised to be disbursed to nonprofit organizations across the community.

The McHenry County Community COVID-19 Response Fund will be an ongoing fundraising effort. It is our expectation that we will be raising dollars for a year to 18 months to distribute to local McHenry County nonprofits. Funds will be distributed throughout that time, as the needs arise and as nonprofits apply through our online process. Together, the United Way of Greater McHenry County and The Community Foundation for McHenry County will be the ones to review the applications and grant the money.

The purpose of establishing this COVID-19 Response Fund is to deploy resources to nonprofit organizations working at the frontlines of the coronavirus outbreak in McHenry County. All donations made to this fund will be used to respond to the impact of this outbreak on our community.
