In times like these community matters more than ever. Such situations can bring out the best in our humanity. The Foundation has reopened our Emergency Response Fund to respond to the COVID-19 crisis. This fund has been utilized for more than 20 years to support our region during times of need. This fund will allow us to raise and mobilize resources and provide support to communities throughout our region that are disproportionally impacted by the coronavirus outbreak.

This fund goes hand-in-hand with the COVID-19 Response Fund which is being used to deploy flexible resources to community organizations that are on the front lines of the Greater Birmingham area coronavirus outbreak.

Hosted by the Community Foundation in partnership with our donors, the Fund will provide flexible resources to our region for the communities that are disproportionately impacted by the outbreak.
