The Southcoast Emergency Response Fund has been established by the Community Foundation in partnership with other regional funders, to rapidly attract and deploy resources to organizations in our region that are disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
In the past few months the Community Foundation has granted more than $1.9 million to nonprofits on the front lines of this pandemic from the SouthCoast Emergency Response Fund.
This Fund will provide flexible resources to organizations that are working with communities at the intersection of being most vulnerable to the COVID-19 virus and most impacted by inequity.
Since 1995, area residents have been turning to the Community Foundation to make their philanthropic giving as effective as possible. The Community Foundation is a tax-exempt, public charity serving thousands of people who share a common concern – improving the quality of life in Southeastern Massachusetts.
