The Tampa Bay Rapid Response Fund, founded by the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay in March 2020 in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, is a trusted, reliable way to contribute whenever our community is threatened.
Money from the fund can be deployed without delay to community-based organizations at the frontlines of an emergency or natural disaster. In any crisis, the nonprofit organizations most immediately impacted are those who work with our area’s most vulnerable people and families. Those include: food pantries and food distribution agencies, services to the elderly, community health centers, homeless shelters, and child-care providers.
Founded in 1990, the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay is a 501 (C)(3) nonprofit that connects people and resources to inspire charitable giving and create a meaningful, lasting impact on our region. We serve Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Hernando and Citrus counties.
