A coalition of foundations, businesses, and individual donors who comprise the COVID-19 Regional Response Fund awarded the Edwardsville Community Foundation a $10,000.00 grant to help our community deal with the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
ECF will administer grants from the ECF Community Covid-19 Relief Fund in collaboration with area organizations who are providing direct services in response to the pandemic. Grants will be released on a rolling basis as fundraising continues throughout the outbreak and recovery phases of this crisis, making it possible to move resources quickly and to adapt to changing needs.
The Edwardsville Community Foundation, ECF, was established in 1997 by a group of local business and community leaders. They founded the ECF to create an organization where people could donate money that would directly impact the quality of life in the local communities. The ECF operates as a charitable trust that receives, manages and distributes tax-deductible charitable contributions for the benefit of the residents living in the local communities as defined by the Edwardsville School District 7. Since its inception in 1997, The ECF has distributed more than $5.9 million to charitable causes.
