About

We are a feminist fund in Mexico that believes in the transformative power of organized girls, women, trans* and intersex people.
Supporting and accompanying their journey to build fairer, freer and happier realities for them and their surroundings is our reason for existing.

For 32 years, we have been mobilizing resources, and providing them to organizations, networks and collectives. We then accompany them so that they and the movements in which they participate are strengthened in order to sustain life from an equality and justice perspective. With our flexible financing, accompaniment and capacity building programs, we support groups of women, trans* and intersex people so that they can work freely and safely. They are the ones who identify the problems they face in their environments, and thus propose the pertinent strategies and actions to address them.

We know that building from a place of self-care and collective care makes the work and its effects more powerful. For this reason, we seek to bring organizations closer to other networks, alliances, donors and strategic opportunities, and from there, sustain the movements for a present and a future with more equality and justice.

About the Host

GlobalGiving is a nonprofit that supports other nonprofits by connecting them to donors and companies. Since 2002, we've helped trusted, community-led organizations from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe (and hundreds of places in between) access the tools, training, and support they need to make our world a better place.
