Fremont Area Community Foundation: Community Response Fund
About
On March 19, we established the Community Response Fund to rapidly deploy resources to nonprofit organizations in Newaygo County as well as the three counties served by our affiliate foundations: Lake, Mecosta, and Osceola.
The fund will provide quick help to organizations serving vulnerable populations impacted by COVID-19 and will give generous community members an easy way to support them.
About the Host
Our story begins in 1950. Fremont Area Community Foundation began when visionary philanthropists set out to change the future of Newaygo County forever. They laid the groundwork for a Community Foundation that has become one of the largest in the U.S. on a per capita basis. The Community Foundation exists to improve the quality of life for residents in Newaygo County. We do this by connecting community needs with the passions of families, businesses, and individuals.
