Coronavirus Outbreak Emergency Relief Fund Fund
About This Fund
On March 11, 2020, nearly two months after announcing a global health emergency, the World Health Organization declared the COVID-19 outbreak a pandemic. Caused by the virus SARS-CoV-2, the disease originated in China but has spread to every continent except for Antarctica.
There is a great need for medical supplies and public health support to contain the spread. Global Impact charity partners are responding to this emergency, both in China and in other parts of the world where the virus has spread or has potential to spread. Please support our Coronavirus Outbreak Emergency Relief Fund to help support response efforts for this emergency.
Global Impact’s Charity Alliance partners are responding worldwide. Response efforts include mitigating and treating the disease among vulnerable communities; delivering medical supplies such as face masks, hand sanitizer and gloves to health care workers; providing infectious disease training; assisting businesses with containment and continuity strategies; and more.
