On March 11, 2020, nearly two months after announcing a global health emergency, the World Health Organization declared the COVID-19 outbreak a pandemic. Caused by the virus SARS-CoV-2, the disease originated in China but has spread to every continent except for Antarctica.
There is a great need for medical supplies and public health support to contain the spread. Global Impact charity partners are responding to this emergency, both in China and in other parts of the world where the virus has spread or has potential to spread.
