A collaborative of local stakeholders has established the Indianapolis E-Learning Fund with an initial investment of more than $2.6 million to support Indianapolis educators, students, and families during the transition to e-learning in response to the recent COVID-19 public health emergency.
The Indianapolis E-Learning Fund will address four focus areas to help ensure schools and districts implement effective solutions to this challenge:
Technology access
County-wide e-learning strategy
County-wide social-emotional learning strategy
Statewide e-learning lab
Since 1965, the Greater Indianapolis Progress Committee (GIPC) has convened representatives from all sectors of the community to address the most significant issues of concern and areas for opportunity related to the progress of Indianapolis.
