The Greater Lowell Community Foundation has established its own COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund in order to provide support to organizations on the frontlines of the pandemic. GLCF is accepting community donations and working in concert with our public health departments to strategically provide grants to local nonprofits serving those affected by the COVID-19 virus.
Requests have come into the foundation for funds to cover unforeseen costs of needs including: portable sinks, antibacterial supplies, lunch bags and supplies as well as prepackaged food. The Community Foundation has seeded the GLCF COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund with an initial amount of $10,000.
Through well-planned charitable gifts, grants, legacy donations and scholarships, The Greater Lowell Community Foundation helps private and corporate donors make a more lasting difference on the quality of life in our community.
