The H.O.T.D.I.S.H. Militia has always approached reproductive health and justice work by blending the culture of Northeastern Minnesota with political theory/practice and grassroots organizing. We intentionally come at the issue of reproductive health and justice in a regionally specific way, are committed to inviting many voices to the table, and work to create visibility around an issue that impacts our community everyday. We tap the spirit and strengths of this area to advance the health and well being of women and transspectrum individuals. The Militia believes when the health of certain individuals is put on the back burner the entire community is affected. We, as the H.O.T.D.I.S.H. Militia, address the complexity of well being in our area with creative, multi-dimensional movement building. The H.O.T.D.I.S.H. Militia is a partner of WE Health Clinic in Duluth, MN. This committee exists to break down the barriers that stand in the way of obtaining abortions and claiming the right of each individual to reign over their own uterus.
