Tens of thousands of workers in Colorado won't receive stimulus checks or other Federal financial aid. These are the undocumented and other workers in our community that have lost their jobs due to COVID-19, and they need our help. They are not eligible for both unemployment insurance and the Federal stimulus funds. To fill this pressing humanitarian need that could linger far beyond the reopening of the U.S. economy, a Left Behind Workers Fund has been established.
Our goal is to empower people who do not have access to any relief programs, to address their most pressing needs (food, rent, bills, health, transportation, etc.). We have begun distributing cash grants to individuals and families across the state, and are seeking to rapidly grow this fund to serve the thousands of more people in need.
Impact Charitable works with our donors to maximize the impact of their donor advised fund. To solve problems and create opportunities in our communities, we must be strategic with all forms of capital. In many cases, grants are necessary to address community needs; however, targeted investments can also be an important tool in creating sustainable solutions. Our mission is to boldly move capital to boldly change the world.
