With the outbreak of COVID19, the nonprofit sector, as with the business and public sectors, has been hit hard as demand for services and subsequent costs to provide those services has increased. The Emergency Relief Fund, activated when a state of emergency is declared by the state or municipal agency, is designed to make giving to support nonprofits impacted by this event easy for donors and for impacted nonprofits to apply for funding.
Applications for nonprofit assistance are being accepted on a continuous basis for immediate, mid and long-term efforts. Currently, The Fund is prioritizing basic human needs, i.e., food, shelter, healthcare, for the most vulnerable populations for financial assistance through April 30, 2020.
The Emergency Response Fund for El Paso County and the Emergency Response Fund for Teller County provide grants to nonprofit organizations serving those affected by a natural disaster or crisis. The Fund accepts contributions on a continual basis.
Since 1928, the Pikes Peak Community Foundation has believed that together, we can make our community a better place. That vision hasn’t changed. Our process is simple so that your gift can have the greatest significance. Now and forever.
