This fund is focused on American healthcare workers and emergency responders like nurses, home health aids, pharmacists, social workers, hospital technicians, the National Guard and others working on the front lines of this pandemic. It also benefits those facing financial hardship resulting from the COVID induced economic downturn.
Funds donated to the Helping COVID Heroes Fund will be used to identify, buy and abolish the medical debts of healthcare professionals and other first responders working across our country’s emergency response infrastructure to support their heroic efforts in this time of crisis.
RIP Medical Debt was founded in 2014 by two former debt collections executives, Craig Antico and Jerry Ashton. Over the course of decades in the debt-buying industry, Craig and Jerry met with thousands of Americans saddled with unpaid and un-payable medical debt and realized they were uniquely qualified to help these people in need. RIP Medical Debt empowers donors to forgive billions in oppressive medical debt. We are dedicated to removing the burden of medical debt for individuals and families and veterans across America.
