In order to support local organization working to address the setbacks posed by the COVID-19 outbreak, The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country has established the The Hill Country Strong Fund. Donations made to this fund will be used to provide grants for these organizations focusing on different impact areas and serving the most vulnerable in our community.
The Fund currently makes grants proactively and does not accept applications at this time. An application is forthcoming. A community-led advisory committee is in formation.
The Hill Country Strong Fund supports organizations helping individuals and communities economically affected by the coronavirus. Grants will be made to service clubs, relief organizations, religious institutions, social service nonprofits, community groups, healthcare providers, and other charities in the Hill Country that are meeting local needs related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country is a public charitable foundation created by and for the residents of the Texas Hill Country. It is a collection of component funds pooled together for maximum philanthropic impact.
