United Way has established the COVID-19 Family Support Fund, a dedicated resource for working families affected by the COVID-19 public health emergency. We will mobilize our broad network of nonprofit agencies throughout the region to provide a flexible source of cash assistance to help families weather the COVID-19 crisis.
We identify the most pressing issues in our community and we bring together the people we think can solve them. Right now, one of the biggest issues we see facing all of the communities we serve is COVID-19. For workers living paycheck to paycheck and families facing homelessness or other financial pressures, the ripples caused by COVID-19 will have a lasting impact on their lives.
United Way of Massachusetts Bay and Merrimack Valley helps unite to create positive, lasting change for people in need. We call it harnessing the power of people working together. And that means everyone — individuals, nonprofits, companies, and government agencies.
