In partnership with our neighbors at Inland Empire United Way, we have established the Inland SoCal COVID-19 Fund to respond to the needs of Inland SoCal residents who will undoubtedly be affected by the pandemic. United Way will not assess an administrative fee to any money raised towards this effort. Funds raised will support a two-pronged response:
1. Technology Infrastructure support needs of our local 211 service providers to be able to continue operations and provide critical services and information to the affected members of the community.
2. Direct Assistance Funds to meet basic needs of the families most affected by the economic effects of the COVID-19 spread prevention measures such as assistance with rent, housing, food, utilities, healthcare costs, or unpaid sick time.
The Direct Assistance Fund is used to meet basic needs of the families most affected by the economic effects of the COVID-19 spread prevention measures such as assistance with rent, housing, food, utilities, healthcare costs, or unpaid sick time.
United Way of the Inland Valleys unites people, ideas, and resources with our community to improve lives. We envision a community where all individuals and families achieve their human potential through education, financial stability and housing.
