California United Ways have established a statewide relief fund to help Californians impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Monies raised will help families impacted by quarantine, disruption of income, and other challenges, while ensuring the equitable distribution of philanthropic resources through coordinated community relief efforts.
This statewide fund is intended to ensure equity in the distribution of philanthropic resources across all of California. Funds raised will complement local funds sponsored by local United Ways and their partners to strengthen those impacted during this extraordinary crisis. (Several local United Ways have established local relief funds as well).
United Ways of California improves the health, education and financial results for low-income children and families by enhancing and coordinating the advocacy and community impact work of California’s 31 local United Ways.
