Blue Meridian Partners is a group of results-oriented philanthropists seeking to transform the life trajectories of children and youth living in poverty across America.

Blue Meridian finds the best of what works and invests significantly to bring these promising strategies and programs to scale. We provide social sector leaders with empirically proven interventions the upfront growth capital their organizations require in order to reach their full potential. We provide philanthropists with an approach for deploying their capital effectively while sharing the costs, risks and rewards. Incubated at the Edna McConnell Clark Foundation, Blue Meridian Partners is pooling resources of $1 billion and more. With these resources, we make large, performance-based “investments” in exceptional nonprofits – committing as much as $200 million to each – that are poised to make a national impact on social problems confronting economically disadvantaged children and youth.

Blue Meridian’s initial portfolio consists of six nonprofits scaling their strategies nationally, and two regionally focused efforts that support the expansion of Blue Meridian’s national grantees in their respective communities.
