Mission

Diaspora Community Services Inc is a social support service agency that empowers low-income families and individuals to overcome obstacles to their well-being and self-sufficiency. They provide comprehensive youth development programs, addressing adolescent pregnancy prevention, residential services for pregnant and parenting teens, and support for LGBT identified youth to decrease youth homelessness. They also offer HIV services focused on community outreach, education, prevention, and access to healthcare and nutritional assistance. Additionally, they have programs addressing maternal health, care coordination, sexual assault, and health insurance access, using a culturally competent approach to address social determinants of health.
