Forest Preserve Foundation Inc

Mission

The Forest Preserve Foundation Inc. aims to protect and restore natural habitats within the Forest Preserve of Cook County and enhance outdoor experiences for all communities. They achieve this by encouraging and administering private gifts to further the mission and goals of the Forest Preserves. Their impact includes supporting programs such as the Chicago Conservation Leadership Corps and the Student Conservation Association's Summer Youth Conservation Corps program. They also fund restoration projects like the Sweet Woods Restoration Project and the Ecological and Community Stewardship at Schiller Woods Serpent Twin Mound.
